DEEP/MPI Price and terms

DEEP/MPI Pricing

There are two types of DEEP/MPI licenses: single-user and whole-system. (All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change.) Also, there is special priciing for Linux/x86 systems. There is also an academic discount. There is no government discount.

DEEP/MPI Single User license

The single user license is for one user on one computer. The single user may be profiling and/or debugging a big parallel code on a larger parallel machine, but that one user will always run DEEP/MPI itself on one particular system.

A DEEP/MPI single-user permanent license is $950 for non Linux/x86 systems. For Linux/x86, the license costs $700.

DEEP/MPI Whole System License

The whole-system license is for large parallel systems with multiple users. The DEEP/MPI whole system license is based on the number of processors in the system, and DEEP/MPI can then be used by an unlimited number of users on all nodes of that parallel system. Pricing can be seen in the tables below.

Multiple Systems

If there are multiple parallel systems, site licenses can be arranged for all machines at one facility. Please contact PSR for a price quote.

Academic discount

If you are an academic institution, you may be entitled to an additional 30% discount on DEEP/MPI products. Academic prices are listed in the tables above.

Support

Six months of support is included with the product. After this, support for one year costs 20% of the purchase price. If you purchase support, new versions will be shipped to you in response to problems you report, or when you request new versions. You will get the lastest enhancements to the product when they are available.

What is included with your order?

When you order DEEP/MPI, you get:

  • Fortran and/or C instrumenters. (Specify your language requirements and your target system.)
  • MPIPROF driver.
  • DEEP/MPI User's Guide. (pdf Format).
  • DEEP/MPI executable.
  • Sample DEEP/MPI data (from NAS Parallel Benchmarks).
